If you've got a craving for crêpes, A.B.'s might be just what you've been waiting for.
The new downtown "crêpe shop" features a rotating menu of sweet and savory delicacies, so you never know what to expect, but you can count on something tasty.
According to the owner, anything with Nutella is always popular. Surefire homies-tested combinations are the Black Forest with ham, brie and apples, the Eggs Benedict or the veggie-friendly Florentine with spinach and mozzarella. If you can't find exactly what you're looking for on the day's menu A.B. is happy to take special requests, as long they've got the right ingredients.
Each crepe is about $5 and should be enough to satisfy one person for breakfast or lunch--these aren't just sidewalk snacks.
New in 2006! Now open during the weekend for lunch. Seating is limited (two tables and four seats at the bar), but A.B. will be glad to box up your crepes to go if you ask.

Awesome. I had the Black Forrest crepe. It was great, came with apples and ham; the sweet/savory combination was delicious. Nice presentation.
Service was slow, but friendly. My order was late, but not very late, and the server comped my meal immediately. I left a good tip because of the way he handled the situation. I would recommend this place for people who enjoy crepes and a nice, off-the-beaten-path type location.

Great place, great food....but don't get your heart set on the hours. They're rather irregular and are sometimes not there at the posted morning times.

i recently tried this place because it is right around the corner from where i work. AB is a very friendly guy and the food is awesome and a great value. its only downfall is how small it is. if it is too busy to sit done be afraid to orded it to go. it is well worth it. great food. keep up the good work AB
