Sure it's a chain, but you'll be hard pressed to find a better steak for less cash. And because it's a chain, the menu is tailor made for diverse palettes right down the middle of the road.

Bad, bad, bad. Last two times I've visited this restaurant I've left unhappy. Food not served as ordered, manager non-helpful and once a glass of water was tipped over on us and waitress made a joke about it.

This restaurant (the Iowa St. one), by far, gives the best service in all of Lawrence. It is still just an Applebee's, so the food isn't going to knock your socks off, but with their good food and drink specials now, that helps. They have the most attentive servers and friendliest. I definately recommend this place if you're in the mood for a burger, sandwich, etc. Don't expect the steaks or ribs to blow you away though.
