food is extremely bland! really really bland. This is a mexican joint and there is absolutely no flavor! I got a number 2 I think it was, it was gross. The beans tasted like reheated beans, the rice was a little crunchy on certain parts, which is really gross. Everything tasted like it was cooked a few days ago and then reheated. I didn't expect much considering that it is a chain restaurant and once a place goes corporate all quality goes out the window. But burrito king and taco bell has more flavor then this place. The salsa is mild and bland, the chips are obviously generic. Will never eat there again, don't blame the waitstaff though, they did ok but blame whoever is in charge because that food was disgusting and I don't know why anyone would ever want to eat there.

Carlos O'Kellys has great service and great specials. Mondays: $1.50 Domestic Bottles Tuesdays: $2.50 Import Bottles Wednesday: $1.50 Mug O'rita's Thursday: $1.50 Draft Beer, 1/2 price House Margaritas Friday: $4.99 Jumbo Margs, $3 Amaretto Sour Saturday: $5 Long Island Iced Tea Sunday: $2 Wells, $3 Bloody Mary/Maria

They have 6 TV's and is great to watch the game or just come and hang out. There is a patio with plenty of outdoor seating. Overall a great place to get a bite to eat or hang out with friends.

I am really surprised at a lot of the bad press on here. This place was my Wednesday evening hangout most of last summer. My food was always great, the staff were all really friendly and fun to talk to, and the margaritas special wasn't bad either. I would certainly pick Carlos over On the Border any time.

I have eaten there twice. I guess I wasn't disgusted enough the first time. I could swear their food is frozen stuff that they throw in the oven. Their "refried" beans come straight out of the can, and their rice is like Minute Rice. Its so weak, dude.

The last time we went, I ordered a steak. It came with a side of rice and beans. The cook cut into my steak, presumably to check to see if it was cooked to my liking. Everyone knows you don't do that. For one, it drains the moisture from your steak. And from a resturant perspective, you ruin the presentation. My beans were heavily sprinkled with black pepper, and they were all crusted over like they had been sitting in the oven too long. Our waitress was nice, and she was embarrassed when I pointed it out. She politely took it back, only to bring me something slightly less disgusting.

I like this place. It's not best Mexican I've ever had, but it is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. I've never had bad service here - actually the service has always been excellent. No complaints here!

The only good thing there is the cheese dip. So order a large chile con queso and share an entree.

This place is disgusting. With all the great mexican places in town, I truly have no idea why anyone would eat here.

While not authentic mexican food the entree's are good and well made. The free chips and salsa are excellent and the drinks are just as good. The wait staff is freindly and seems knowledgable. As for the price I think it seems reasonable and comparitive for the amount of food you get.
