Description
A staple neighborhood bar for twenty years, Charlie's East Side Grill & Bar is tucked away on the corner of 9th and Pennsylvania in an old stone building. The cozy tavern serves up 3.2 beer (Boulevard to Budweiser), grill fare and mountains of cheap tacos, enchiladas and fajitas (owner Charlie Del Campo belongs to the same family that owns La Tropicana). With no sign out front and little advertising, Charlie's plays host to a cast of regulars and the occasional college students or stragglers. "I don't know how they find it but they always do," Del Campo says.
