Located southwest of Lawrence. Clinton's 7 parks are located on 15,000 acres surrounding 7,000 acres of surface water make for ample outdoor recreation options. Swimming, boating, camping, sightseeing, fishing, hiking, bicycling, picnicking and hunting are but a few possibilities.

Facilities include boat ramps, courtesy docks, campgrounds, swimming beaches, picnic areas, playgrounds, hiking trails and the golf course. One marina concession, located in the State Park, provides a full line of marina services.

Clinton's dam construction began in 1971 by the The USACE and filling began in 1977 through 1980. Contact information provided here is for the USACE, which administers the lake.
