The Downtown Lawrence Farmers Market offers a wide array of products including vegetable plants, bedding plants, asparagus, rhubarb, greens, lettuces, herbs, cut flower bouquets, baked goods, meat, prepared foods, crafts, and bodycare products. The band Big Stack Daddy will provide live music on opening day.
The market is the oldest farmers' market in Kansas with more than 70 vendors. It is a producer-only market, which means that everything offered at market is produced by vendors and is homegrown or handmade in northeast Kansas. No wholesale resellers are allowed.
