As of June 1, 2007, the long-standing Mass. Street Deli building has been transformed into Genovese, the latest enterprise from Zen Zero and La Parrilla maestros Alejandro and Subarna. This time, the pair's talent for tasty food and restaurateuring manifests itself through Northern Italian cuisine like Lidia's in KC—vs Italian American a la the ubiquitous Olive Garden—as well as provincial French fare. Seafoods, pastas, pizzas, hot and cold appetizers, and more. The full bar specializes in Bellinis—a champagne cocktail with fresh fruit—and a wide array of liquors and wines.
