Description

When it comes to Jimmy Johns, it all boils down to one thing: mayonnaise. And tons of it. Order a sub without mayonnaise and you may get curious looks from those around you. The bread is cooked fresh, and the meat delegated liberally. Watch out for the "slims," which deliver exactly what they promise: meat and nothing else.

love it! It's great sober or drunk! Get the #10, you won't regret it! Also, this has to be the best chain sub shop around!

I like this place because sometimes I feel like getting a pretty simple sandwich and Jimmy Johns offers just that for a modest price, I think just under $4. Or for another dollar or two you can add more fixins.Ha, fixins.Anyway, I don't know about the other locations but the downtown store makes their sandwiches so fast, sometimes I really do freak. On occasion, I'll have my sandwich before I get my change, not to say they are slow to make change.

That's 4 delivery orders in a row they have messed up for me. I might just keep ordering to keep the streak alive though.

I love Jimmy John's. They don't deliver as fast to my new place as they did to the other places I've lived, but that's okay, I have a feeling it's because my girlfriend is a cheap tipper. Their sandwhiches aren't particularly unique in any way I can pinpoint, but they encompass something I've never found anywhere else. As far as the mayo making people sick, I've never heard or experienced that myself. Personally I think the combo of mayo with their glorious bread is simply perfect.

I've never tried the non-french bread, but my girlfriend gets it most every time and loves it. I like to get a cheap loaf of day-old bread and munch on it. Also their big ol' pickles are a treat. My only complaint is that I have trouble keeping all the goodies inside the bread while I'm eating it -- it all tends to scooch towards the back end of the sammy with every bite. But heck, if I had to choose between that and not enough goodies, I'll take that!

The bread is good but the sandwiches have very little meat and veggies on them. And I think cheese is extra. At Subway they have many more veggies and they don't charge extra for cheese. And the price is very expensive for just a sandwich.

A much larger national chain of sub shops left me feeling sick for a couple of times in a row, so I decided to try Jimmy John's since an older coworker of mine was really fond of their subs. My first reaction on going to Jimmy John's was suprise at how limited their menu seemed to be. For meats there is roast beef, turkey, salami, and a few other types of meats and ingredients. No steak, or chicken tenders, meatballs, etc. I ordered a sub, but didn't expect it to be that good. I was however pleasantly surprised. It was really good considering the few basic ingredients. Instead of having a ton of different things on the menu, they seem to concentrate on having only a few items, but making them well, with great ingredients.

Although the food is fairly cheap, I have to say that I disagree with the last review and feel that the good taste would be wasted on making it just a meal to have when you are drunk. I would recommend it for lunches or especially for when you are wanting a meal but are pressed for time. It doesn't take them long to make the subs for you.

The bread is really really good. I'm not sure how they do it, but I consider it the perfect bread for subs. You can also often purchase their extra day old bread for a fairly small amount. The bread of course is perfect for making your own sandwiches for lunch.

I LOVE JJ!!!! The best sandwiches ever!! The bread is always fresh and ohhhh so tasty!!! Subway doesn't even come close! You can't unwrap it..... or else the insides will just slide right out of the bread!!!! Trust me eat it wrapped. If you don't like JJ, then you have serious problems!!!

Blah, the bread at Jimmy John's is really bad. I can't stand it. Also, I know it's quick but I always want it faster.

I didn't go into the restaurant, but a friend gave me a sandwich and I was surprised that it was so good. I'm not a big sub sandwich fan, but these aren't 90% bread like most. The bread is almost like a yeast type bun with a soft crunchy top but not all the filler in between. Very good, I was impressed. I will stop by the new store at 6th and Kasold and see what's on the menu.

Ah, Jimmy John's. I've spent many a drunk dollar there after stumbling out of the Replay. They're great for late night drunk food, but something about their mayo always makes me sick (and many other people, from what I've heard). The service is pretty good, considering that they mainly have people who are drunk downtown or tourists.
