Joe's has been famous for its glazed doughnuts and egg salad sandwiches since the early 1950s. Several years ago, the halcyon days of late-night hours and lines out the door at 2 a.m. sadly ceased to be. But with new ownership and revived late-night hours circa 2006, the Lawrence landmark is poised to make a comeback.
