My waitress once snuck me three extra loaves of bread to take home when I told her how delicious it was.Wherever you are, thank you!Service is good. Food is great. Prices are high :(.
Most of my experiences at Longhorn have been great ones. The food is excellent as a norm. There have been times when I had to send my steak back because it wasn't cooked correctly but the owner has always been great about fixing it and getting it right. Kurt does a fab ulous job with this restaraunt and loves what he does and it shows. The food is cooked with care, the flavors are balanced correctly and the menu is phenomenol and changes slightly on occasion to provide something new and fresh on a regular basis. I eat here at least twice a month and have rarely been disappointed. When there was an issue they have always corrected it and made it right. Something to remember is that no place is perfect and if a mistake is made bring it to the attention of management and it will be fixed to your satisfaction. That is what makes the difference between a great restaraunt and one I would visit again.
Longhorn is the first place I've ever sent food back at. My entire meal was so salty that it was impossible to eat. I could actually see the big hunks of salt on the veggies. And tasting my roommate's steak, it suffered from the same problem. Some one in the kitchen there needs to learn that excellent cuts of meat should have little or no seasoning; the meat itself should be good enough on it's own. Despite the problems with the food, the service was excellent until it came time to divide up the bill. Our waitress who was on top of everything until then had several mistakes on the bill. I'm so glad that there's other steakhouses in this town. I'm sure the chain recognition will be great for incoming students and their parents, but for the rest of us I'm not so sure.
Went to my first Longhorn a few months ago (and have been back a few times since) and was very impressed.
I have eaten the steak there as well as the chicken and both were fantastic. Most meals also come with side dishes and the appetizer menu is great.
The service is amazing! Our waitress was kind and quick and did a good job recommending an entree for a friend who is not a big meat eater. Also, the woman sitting behind us did not eat her steak because it was too spicy. The manager came out, spoke with her and immediately gave her her meal free and a free dessert.
Highly recommend. The food is fantastic, the price and the service can't be beat!
Longhorn steaks are fabulous!! I've worked and eaten at most/all of the other steakhouses in town, and Longhorn's are the best. Great appetizers and deserts as well. Chicken dishes to die for. The service is amazing, go check it out!
We avoided this place because we thought it was just a steakhouse, but it's not. They have a good selection. We went there for lunch and it was great. Try the grilled shrimp. Pork chops are good too (similar to Outback).
Better than Heford.
Went here 3 times in the first month. Once for lunch two other times for dinner.
The steaks are excellent, yes it is a steak place, they should be good, Ok I know we have Dons and Montana Mikes. Good portions, good variety, good price.
The only issue I have is the 45-90 minute wait you must endure on Friday nights.
But there is a way around that, but I'm not tellin'
I'm glad they are here.
The kitchen is always open during business hours.
