The Best service in lawrence! Wether ive gone their for an appetizer or a full course meal, the server always has made me feel like the most important patron in the restaurant. The south american drinks are great and a refreshing break from the redundant bud light, and the food almost always "HITS THE SPOT" Hey if im gonna blow 35 bucks on a meal for 2 id rather be treated like a king than a poor college student.

Horrible service. Try to get in and out within an hour and a half, and a restaurant that is not even half full!

Just wanted to let a few people know... yes this food may seem "fresh" due to the fact that they fool you by making guacamole at the table.... however, i can tell you from experience (i worked there)... nothing is "fresh" more like frozen and lard filled. EVERYTHING there is cooked in lard ... even the "healthy" grilled chicken that comes atop your salad! ENJOY!

OTB is awesome, but between all the chips I can't stop eating, the HUGE portions I can barely finish half of, and the gi-hugic sangria swirls that are like crack, I always roll out of that place feeling more bloated than a sorority during "that time of the month."

I really enjoy the food at OTB. It,s nice to have guacamole made with real avacadoes and ingredients. The salsa is also very good. Fresh ingredients and not pureed to a mush. The only complaint I have is that the fish tacos are batter fried. All the fish tacos I've eaten in Mexico have steamed or grilled fish. Live guacamole bowl RULES! I'll definitely be back.

After having lived in California for 15 years in a Mexican community eating at their homes and at their restaurants I found it refreshing to receive food that is like their homemade food here in Kansas. The fish tacos are fantastic and their shrimp and spinach enchiladas melted in my mouth. Their Tamales are just like the ones made every year and sold for fund raisers. I highly reccomend On The Border.

I hate that the Mexican cuisine has turned into something so commercial, and just flat out nasty.

Comming from OP, I used to eat at OTB all the time it was the best food around, I came out here and they give you a fraction of the chips and their salsa sucks. They put their green salsa all over my chicken and I am really dissapointed. But The food taste great and I love the place. Go there and try for yourself!
