Description
Paisano's specializes in traditional Italian dishes -- pastas, chicken, veal and such -- served in large portions. Started in a downtown basement nook in Topeka, Paisano's expanded to Lawrence in 1995 with a strip mall location on the Southside. Though the dimly-lit quaintness didn't make the move, the restaurant still has an intimate feel. And with the two-level seating area, low-ceiling basement dining is still an option.

They have a tendency to overuse the olive oil and butter in just about every dish on the menu. Everything is triple doused in Olive Oil...if they left more of the food to its own flavor they would be in better shape.
They have a nice atmosphere....good for a romantic evening if the occasion calls.
They are a little overpriced for the type of food you receive. Overall they are good for the atmosphere but a little lacking in the food quality.

Thats really all I can say...It's just another american italian joint, I find the food kind of bland and the pasta way oercooked.
