Description
A tavern with 'tude, the Lyon is something like a warm euro-style pub, but more spacious, better lit and without any dank wood work. Always clean and lined out with amenities like board games, darts, pool, and free popcorn. If you're getting slow service, take time to take in the sign above the bar: "Please don't tell anyone about the Lyon. We have no time for strangers. Remember it's your seat."

some fraud trying to evoke the ambience of the original irreplaceable red lion..of course no one who'd stumble in there will recall it anyhow..no time for wannabes, is more like it!

Man, this bar really sucks. It smells like piss, the popcorn is stale, the drinks are overpriced, and you get nothing but soccer games on the TV. Awesome!

Make no mistake. There are only two cool bars in Lawrence, and this is one of them. The other one is Louise's, by the way.
