About this place
The Solidarity Center is a social center located in downtown Lawrence. Solidarity offers over 4,000 books on topics ranging from Anarchism to Environmentalism, from Feminism to Vegan Cooking. These books comprise our lending library, and for checkout for free to anyone. We merely ask for contact information, and assign you a due date, and expect the book to come back when you say it will. We sell a small selection of titles, as well as offer Zapatista Coffee, shirts, stickers, and more. Solidarity is also home to nearly 5,000 magazines, periodicals, pamphlets, zines, and other publications, as well as offers free public internet, both wireless and on our community computer.
Relocated just around the corner from the old location at 1119 Mass. St.

Does anyone know of someone needing a temporary roommate? I am in a potentially violent situation but I am also without a working car. I need to be prepared before moving to Salina KS in August. Please reply to loiria@yahoo.com Elizabeth H.
