I really enjoy your movie theater. I also know several older folks that go to your movie theater weekly. It is their hobby. It was really upsetting to them that you will not be posting the movie times in the newspaper. That is one of the only ways they can get ahold of movie times. They are extremly loyal customers and don't use the internet. I really wish this action could be reconsidered for the folks that don't rely on the internet. Thank you for your time.
I always appreciate the nice and friendly the staff in the theater. I love their sound system too... Plenty of oomph in the base. All in all a great theater!
I'm all about supporting the local economy, but I also find that I go to the AMC 30 in Olathe. The seats are more comfortable, you can raise the middle arm bar(which is especially convient when on a date), and unlike the SouthWind I don't feel crammed in. I'm only 6ft tall, I don't understand how anyone taller can fit in the seats.
Also, I've noticed several mice. I understand that food on the ground which is left by people attracts pests, but the quickest way to end a date is to have not 1, not 2, but 3 mice giving your date the heebie jeebies.
The Lawrence Theater is a great place to get head lice! It is the ultimate in discomfort seating also.
Black Christmas is a terrible excuse for a horror movie. It's overall plot was pathetic, not to mention the acting. Southwind did themselves a favor by not showing this film.
How come Black Christmas was never played at the Southwind 12 theater???
Mattboy, I totally agree. The seating is awful.
I'm a 6' tall guy and I HATE the seats at Southwind 12 and have also started driving to K.C. to view movies. I'd go to the movies more if the experience wasn't so painful for me.
Oh well, there's always Netflix!
I drive to kansas city to see movies. AMC 30 is 30 minutes away.
Whoever designed this theater should be punished. WHY CUT OUT THE BEST SEATS!!!!!Have the walkways on the sides not the middle.
