Good grief - those are all old comments. We have gone to Spangle's several times and the food is just fine - it's a burger joint but one filled with nostalgia - even the music is played outside like in the old days (50's and 60's). Apparently they must have gotten new management because we liked it. The food was good and the service was good as well. And the music just put you back in your own time of fond memories. The big Marilyn Monroe statue was there to greet us when we walked in!! lol! We even took an older couple there for a burger, fries and a milkshake. A burger joint yes - but good enough to stop in to just have an awesome ice cream desert, too! Must be new management - we think it's fine.
Spangle's is dreadful. After the months of laughable commercials, I felt I had no choice but to finally try Spangle's. The moment I walked in, I knew that the experience would be harrowing. The hamburger was terrible, with about three pounds of mustard, and the fries are far, far worse than the cheapest frozen fries at wal-mart that I can under-cook at home. The milkshake was also horrible. Disgusting as McDonald's may be, it is exponentially better than Spangle's. Plus, the cheap, suffocating "'50s" decor is nauseating, particularly the guitars that are hung upside-down on the walls. Save your time and money and head to BK or McD's, and let's hope Spangle's goes under soon so we can finally be freed from the ads!
Super Greasy food with a cheesy atmosphere and really annoying commercials. In a town packed with fast food this place is the last I would go to. Two times dissapointed with the quality and price of the food I will not be going back. It is popular with some but no one I know.

It wasn't that bad. It's a step up from McDonalds.

For the love of God, don't eat here. It's just AWFUL.
Catchy commercials, though. M-m-m-mudslide!
