About this place

Lawrence's lone bar with a view of campus, The Crossing has a long tradition of mixing those just old enough for orientation with those old enough that they should have real jobs by now. Its choice patio is always loaded come spring (the mist machine is a bonus on hot days), and "beer pong" (a ping-pong-derived drinking game) is always in fashion. A big-screen TV delivers Jayhawks and Royals/Chiefs games, while amenities include darts, a jukebox and freeform wall graffitti. Other attractions include 7'7" bartender/pro-wrestler David "The Mighty Sequoia" Gilchrist and the occasional girls in the corner who will make out for free beer.

Open Monday through Saturday noon-midnight.

Never ever go to this bar unless you are in the mood for warm beer and rude bartenders and annoying patrons. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!
