Lawrence artist Ben Dory brings new life to simple pen and ink. While he frankly admits "black and white is what I do because I'm no good at color," his new works manage to feel psychedelic. Ben joins us to talk about his approach to art, the sociopolitical aspects within his pieces, the scene in Lawrence and nurturing local culture.
His new show opens Monday at the Pig.

i have one of his prints hanging in my bedroom and i love it EVEN more after listening to this interview, gives it so much more depth and meaning. sooo good!
