Christopher John Bostwick breaks down why he's attracted to large-scale, abstract, staged still-lifes in his new show "Do You Need a Friend To Go With?" The recent graduate of the printmaking department at the Kansas City Arts Institute desires to keep his artistic output positive even though he's had a run of bad luck lately, including having his car stolen.
