Spence's new album, which comes down somewhere among his roots in drum & bass and a more chilled out electronic feel, will be unveiled Thursday at the Tap Room. The Lawrence producer — a.k.a. Danny Spence — is on the cusp of big life changes. He's wrapping up his time at KU and heading back to Austin. He's found himself single...again. If breaking up is hard to do, try recording a new record in the middle of all of this. Apparently working hard and living passionately have helped Spence because this new album is beautiful.
