A true friend is a rare gift of life, and it's a bond that requires mutual effort - afterall, to have a friend is to be a friend. Rev. Peter Luckey discusses how we might shape our lives according to what Jesus said moments before leaving his friends, the disciples, at the Last Supper: "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:12-13).
