The White Chocolate Experience

Monday, Aug. 1, 2005

The next stop on Miles' mini tour of new downtown businesses — White Chocolate — a mom and pop-style skate shop imported from Hays, Kansas, following the recent end of Let It Ride's 10-year-run. The one employee at White Chocolate's 1005 Mass. location, biz partner Rod Smith, breaks down what the store's about — it's not just for skaters, it's youth culture, it's like candy you don't eat, it's the White Chocolate Experience.

yo I gotta give it up to Rod, I think White Chocolate is just the thing to heal the skateboard community after the lost of LIR. I went in there the 2nd week of opening and must say I was blown away at the great vibe I was getting. I wish this store the best of luck! And they for surely got me as a supporter/customer!!!

yeah the vibe is definitely tops. Im not into skateboarding personally, but the best of luck to them. I can tell they're into it for the right reasons. Viva la community!

Now all they need is a darn bulliten board to hang our community event flyers! ;)
