If your spring break - and that of your kids - involves staying around Lawrence next week, here's an option: Imitate dinosaur noises and find out how body functions are made. It's time for "The Science Sound," the theme for ths annual spring break education event at Kansas University's Natural History Museum. The interactive exhibit features the science behind sound waves, how animals make noises and a variety of other fun activities good for kids of all ages. The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through March 22, is the subject of this week's Pulse Podcast. Teresa MacDonald, the museum's education director, demonstrates some of the activities and talks about the science behind them.
