Take a trip back to the 1970s Lawrence music scene as Richard Gintowt interviews Lynn Piller of Tree Frog. This half-hour podcast follows the story of the local band from their first recording experience in Nashville to their cantankerous clash with the disco era, interspersed with songs from the band's 1980 album "Better Late Than Never." Songs, in order of appearance, are:
1. Something Worth My Time
2. Wilderness Road / You'll Never Reach the End
3. Over the Falls
4. All Night Long
5. Think of Me
Tree Frog plays a reunion show Liberty Hall Saturday July 16 at 7pm. Tickets are $10. More reunion show info...

They're all smiling in their picture. Why don't bands do that anymore???

TREEFROGS...now that makes sense, we know what Treefrogs are, this does not require a lengthy story of explaination. Why can't more bands have logical names? What the heck is a Crumpleton??!!

Not sure where my first comment got recorded, but... A Crumpleton is someone who provides a fine evening of music from (in my case) my junior high and high school years. Also a branch from the musical family tree where one frog lives!
