After four awesome rounds of debauchery, bloodshed and barbarous wedgies, the Deadwood Derby's 16 competitors have been whittled down to five. A good-old-fashioned butt slap is in order for the survivors: Sterilize Stereo, Kaw Valley Project, Left on Northwood, Dead Girls Ruin Everything and The Old Black. No two of these bands are alike, portending a capital capstone for our local music cockfight. We spent a few minutes with each act to talk Derby and listen to some music. Here's hoping you'll take a few moments to get acquainted with our fab-five fight card and venture on over to the Granada for the May 4 finals.
