Storyteller, musician and poet David Gonzalez brings his adaptation of a Russian fairy tale, The Frog Bride, to the stage with his larger-than-life characterizations and his signature storytelling style. This production was recently nominated for a Drama Desk Award in the category of Unique Theatrical Experience. "David Gonzalez's The Frog Bride is a magical, enchanting hour of storytelling," says a NYtheatre.com review. "I can't think of a more delightful way to introduce a young child to the joy of theatre. And I'm not sure I can come up with a more charming way for an adult to pass an hour, either. It's a feast of sight, sound and imagination for any age." With live music derived from Prokofiev and comic spark that swells to the outrageous, The Frog Bride is a ribbiting coming-of-age story.
