Margaret Cho is a semipro bellydancer and fashion designer, but that's probably not why people are going to pack Liberty Hall this Saturday to see her. Cho's standup routine has been the anchor of her decade-plus career, which has also included books, ill-fated sitcoms, Bush-blasting blogs and campaigns to support gay marriage and human rights. Cho's recent obsessions include a live burlesque/bellydance/comedy show titled "The Sensuous Woman" and a feature-length film titled "Bam Bam and Celeste." Word has it Cho will be auditioning new standup material on her Midwest mini-tour though Madison (WI), Wichita and Lawrence.
