Epitaph's Motion City Soundtrack hails from Minneapolis but has relied on local producer Ed Rose (Black Lodge Studios) to define the sound of its anthemic pop punk records. Taking inspiration from bands like Braid and Superchunk, the group has grown into a Warped Tour favorite. The group's upcoming album "Even It If Kills Me" paired them with producers Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne) and Ric Ocasek (The Cars), both of whom share the group's fondness for overtly catchy synth pop.
