Review: Danielson with Evan Saatoff and namelessnumberheadman at the Bottleneck

I left the show totally bummed by the absolute bigoted attitude of a few Bottleneck employees. It's amazing to see someone intentionally start the house music before the last note has finished resonating....before the encore! AND what about playing Slayer just to piss them off? I can see the irony, but this was done in a lame antagonistic manner. Dan Smith had to request it be turned off. It was like hanging out with someone's older brother that thinks he's got all his shit figured out and lets everyone know it. Even though he's hanging out with a bunch of kids that are "obviously" below him. This attitude stems from the extremely BIGOTED anti-Christian vibe, that all too commonly exudes from a lot of people Lawrence.

Less uncanny "X-Men: The Last Stand" still entertaining

I've never been so pissed off at mediocrity than when I left this movie. A total piece of shint. Dan Billion actually started snoring in the theatre...TWICE! X-Men 3 made Into the Blue look like a think piece.

Review :: The Billions, "Trash or Treasure"

I don't believe that one line on a record deserves a whole paragraph, followed by another paragraph of back peddling and white washing. I know you don't hate Jesus Richard, but your own personal politics turned a descent review into an uninspired mess.

Don't try to pretend that you're the legion of political correctness, by giving us idiots out here an advance Jesus warning. It's obvious that the line "With Jesus as our anchor we will stay strong" made YOU feel alienated. I read the review to get your opinion of the record...not your dogma. One line in a record?!! I mean, what were you really trying to accomplish with the last half of your review?

It was as if you just walked away from your review entirely because you couldn't intellectually jump the Jesus hurdle. Would you write half an article about the use of the word Jah on the new Damian Marley record? I doubt it.

love
Jason Barr

ps.
Just in case anyone doesn't know this, Damian Marley also smokes a lot of WEED, and this might alienate a lot of the audience.
