What the NGP Needs to Succeed

While the kitchen sink list of features is intriguing, I still don't believe this console is going to stand a chance competing with the 3DS. The PSP had a respectable line up of exclusives, but they couldn't really hold a candle to the big N's juggernaut franchises. And with the 3DS launching in March, it seems like Sony will be playing catch up for the forseeable future. As for myself, Nintendo had me at "3D Street fighter".

Review: Marvel vs. Capcom 3

"extremely cheap" is the battle cry of the scrub. If you can't handle the hadoukens get out of the kitchen.

Allowing a banned user, and current city commission candidate, to return to

I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind this. How does the fact that Mr. Alstrom is now running for city commission have any bearing on his status on this website? I find the contention that a candidate is somehow entitled to post on this website purely based on their candidacy rather specious.

Hackers: More Harm Than Good on Consoles

Wow, does Sony pay you? The PSP failed because of piracy?? Maybe the fact that the big N has been dominating the handheld market since the release of the Gameboy had a little something to do with it? As for the PS3, if Sony didn't want it hacked, they shouldn't have removed the ability for users to run Linux. It was made abundantly clear during the fail0verflow panel that their sole impetus for hacking the PS3 security was this decision by Sony to removed an ADVERTISED FEATURE from a product they had purchased. I find the fact that Sony believes they have a right to remove features from products they sell far more disconcerting than any piracy. All these hackers are dong is asserting their right to use the hardware they purchased to its full potential. And, while I don't think it is particularly relevant, the PS3 security was so broken it's surprising it took this long for someone to crack it. As a result, I ask Sony, was it worth it? In trying to screw the user all you have done is allowed the more deviant of the bunch complete reign.

Batman's New Archvillain: Who's Next?

Bring back Danny Devito and the Governator as Penguin and Mr. Freeze respectively. Pepper the dialogue with bad ice/penguin puns and Twins references; then slap some nipples on the bat suit and you're good to go.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is an election

I prefer having Carlos Mencia confined to one channel where he can be easily avoided.

GTA IV impressions

I had to push a guy in front of that first train too, also cost me the mission, also totally worth it.

Thoughts on Ron Paul

Ron Paul is ok. It's the students that have made him out to be some messianic figure that annoy me.

What rhymes with Missour-ah?

I was pretty fond of THX1138's entry; I think that is the first time I have seen the word 'accreditation' used in a poem.

As for the gift certificate: I'll take Love Garden if that works.
As for getting it to me: I can just pick it up or you can mail it or whatever. I'm not too particular about gift certificate transportation.
