Review: Mario Kart DS - DS

Okay.... so I still don't have a DS, but it's so hard to slap down the money for one with a PSP already and 360 a week away. Can I wait until Christmas and hope that Santa brings one with Mario Kart, or should I throw caution to the wind and get it now?
