After graduating with a BA in English from St. Norbert College in 1991, I decided to hide out in graduate school from the bad economy. I came to KU on the recommendation of a professor who was a 1984 KU alumnus, fell in love with Lawrence, and stayed long after that whole graduate school thing didn't work out the way I planned.

My interests include Kenpo, theater (obviously), publishing, volleyball, and the Cincinnati Bengals. I am most passionate about the last and hope they will find a way to win a Super Bowl some time before I die.
