And while many townies might say it would such to get another corporate "chainstore bullsh*t factory" in the space, you can bet the corporate dudes would at least probably be paying their employees...and rent!
I like their food. Burgers are pretty darned good and their wings are yummy. But I agree that their service is lacking (although *most* service in Lawrence is sub-par). Here's a good one....a couple of friends ate there before bowling one night and the waitress tracked them down in the bowling alley because they "shorted" her 10 cents. TEN CENTS!! Are you kidding me? And she was a snot about it. No thank you, I'll take mine carry-out, please.
I was really excited to go see this movie but afterward felt it was about 30 minutes too long. Yes, the scenery was beautiful so kudos to Rodrigo Prieto. And I knew what I was getting into but the initial sex scene was awkward to me. Seemed rather brutal! Michelle Williams deserves the accolades, but Heath Ledger Oscar worthy? Come on! However, it was worth the price of admission just to ogle him for 2 hours dressed in cowboy attire. Yummm-meeeeeeee!

'Brokeback Mountain' a dull and overrated affair
