Mad Greek Restaurant

We have eaten there several times. The food is quite good, the portions are generous and the price quite reasonable. The wait staff is prompt and courteous. This is a beautiful restaurant as well, with comfortable booths and gentle lighting. One can bring out of town guests here with confidence!

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar

These buffalo wings are wonderful! Great surroundings as well. With the foolproof "selfservice" pagers for order pickup, nothing is left to chance. The bar waitresses are handy and make frequent checks on patrons

The Burrito King

There is NOTHING.. I mean NOTHING like a number one and a pop after a hard day of study! I realize that many eat here after a long evenng of bar hopping however, there are many more egg headed types who partake of the late night ambrosia...

Milton's

My daughter and I stopped in for coffee. I brought my wife back the next day! We had the homemade pizza and cheescake. Both were simply WONDERFUL. The service was great too, no surprise there after we happened to meet the owner who was also very polite and accomodating!!

Paradise Cafe

The paradise cafe is an exciting place to eat. I particularly enjoy trying "new" tastes there. The service is always professional. The menu while a little on the pricey side has never failed to delight. The ownership has a big resposibility to maintain the pleasant atmospere during the current renovation... I can't wait for the reopening!

Massachusetts Street Delicatessen

Mass Street Deli performs best in a category not listed... consistency! The food is always tasty, plentiful and reasonably priced. The service is likewise couteous and consistent! Plus this is a lovely place to eat as well.

Mojo's

After hearing what wonderful wings MoJO's had I decided to take my wife for some. Being born in Virginia, the "east coast style" seemed the logical choice. We were told "we are out of them". Well, ok fine, we tried another type and again were told "we are out of those too", we tried this twice more, finally we asked OK what DO you have? After ordering it seemed obvous why they were not out of these as well. These old birds musta been around for a while, dry tasteless, neither my wife or I finished. YUM YUM I tried on two other occasions with closely analogous experiences...

Quinton's Bar & Deli

The sandwiches and the soup in the bread bowls are to DIE for! My favourite is a Reuben with Brocolli soup. I have enountered some of the NICEST wait staff at Quintons!

Jefferson's Restaurant

I love buffalo wings... I have eaten them in a house... and with a mouse.. on a train; and in a plane... yada yada. Theirs are quite tasty, however the service was the weak link. On one occasion while seated at the bar, I believe that the bartender must have assumed I was someone who had already eaten? I waited 25 minutes before I was noticed (after I got up from my seat walked to where he was talking to another guest and asked for a menu and a beer). Additionally I was CHARGED for a small container of Bleu cheese for the wings (totally uncool). There are better places with better wings in Lawrence!

India Palace

I took our entire family there not long ago (8 of us). Being novices to indian food the waiter was VERY helpful (and patient)answering our questions and helping with the butchering we did of the names of the various dishes. He suggested varous items (platters) that had a variety of items so that each person could taste a bit of this and a bit of that. We found the food quite good many new tastes for our children. I had a wonderful time and had difficulty getting up from this huge meal. The price was reasonable in light of the size meal we enjoyed. Even things that did not "sound" good such as fish stew were in fact delicious!
