Those are exactly the kind of directions I give too! Like "keep walking down that street til you see a red store-front on the corner with loads of window-boxes, take a right and it should be about half a block down on your left". Eh, I like to blame it on photographic memory but directionally dyslexic is probably more accurate!
I am so getting this for a) my apartment, b) my mom and c) all of my friends' young children so that I dont have to touch their stinky child-feet ever again.
