It took forever to get our juices juiced. I mean, even considering that it is freshly juiced while you wait, it was a really long time. About half an hour. We were the only customers at the time. .. Also our rice and peas (which is actually rice and beans) was lukewarm, which seemed like a health concern. But nobody got sick, so it's all good.
I hope these are just glitches because they are so new. Hopefully they will be able to work out these bugs. I'd really like this place to work out.

My spouse and I went to Genovese for our first anniversary last night.
It was great!
We started out with the ahi tuna antipasti. It came with some foccaccia and was stellar!
For an entree, my spouse had the lamb chops and was ecstatic about them and the potatoes that came with them.
I had the spinach salad and the fresh corn polenta. The fresh corn polenta was delicious and unlike anything I've ever had.
Being a big occasion and all, we even splurged on the fruit tarte with gelato for dessert. That was amazingly delicious as well. The crust itself on the tarte was not great, but combined with the fruit and gelato it was an amazing taste experience.
Our waitress was perfect.
Really a great time. Especially considering that they've just opened.

Kendra's work is really beautiful. She's definitely one of the best artists in Lawrence.

Mayhaps you need calcium, my dear. The hunchback is usually a sign of osteporosis. Your delicate ladylike bones are becoming desiccated.

I agree with Scary 100%. Though Papa Keno's was my favorite pizza in town, there is no way I will ever go there again.
