I'm starting to read "Skyjack: The hunt for D.B. Cooper." The author investigates Cooper's flight, and apparently also recreates the crime. It sounded like a fun read.
Gordon has played in all 15 games for Minnesota this year heading into the season-finale with Denver. He has 37 tackles and one INT thus far this year. Last year he played eight games with the Vikings and had 14 tackles.
Actually, the previous four of them were down. They're restored now. This blog overlaps on KUsports, and this particular one hasn't loaded on the main page. Anyway, they all (hopefully) should be back in working order.
"more lies from you: "No, they busted him while he was trying to rectify the problem.
From KUsports: He said he showed at court Thursday, "trying to pay both of them (warrants). It didn't work out that way. I was surprised," he said of getting arrested, then posting $500 bond.
"it wasn't just a traffic violation these were warrants."
Right ... for unpaid traffic tickets. And they arrested him when he went in to take care of the problem. Those aren't false statements. They are facts from published reports. He had unpaid tickets and didn't appear in court when he was supposed to, and they arrested him when he stopped by Lawrence Municipal Court to take care of them. He should have taken care of it sooner. He didn't. He got in trouble for it. He apologized. His reputation has taken a deserving knock for it, but it's not that big of a deal. If it were, they knew where to find him.
I've gotta disagree with you just a tiny bit Shelby. I think Rush's presence makes or breaks this team when Collins is out of the lineup. With Collins available, Rush's presence doesn't make or break it. But with the 'Hawks already shorthanded at the guard spots, they need a go-to scorer in there.
That said, I share your concern about why Rush's availability went from 15-20 minutes to 36 during the course of a game. My guess is Brandon told the coaches it felt fine ... but that probably had more to do with him not wanting to lose at home to Arizona. Either way, I'm curious how the knee was feeling Monday morning.
There are two things I'm looking at as far as K-State is concerned. First, the fact that the Wildcats need this win to become bowl eligible (and beating MU and Texas would give them a pair of significant wins). Second, Aqib Talib had trouble handling Jordy Nelson when KU and K-State played, so with Pig Brown out of Mizzou's lineup I could see Nelson have a field day. The key is for MU to get serious pressure on the quarterback.

A healthy start to the new year
As incredible of a mountain runner as Kilian is, it's his downhill running in the mountains that is flat-out amazing. He moves like he's skiing.

What books are on your to-read list this year?

Immaturity is Wildcats' weakness
Yes, paavopetie, you are correct. We will see.
I'm curious what your impression is of this season's K-State team. Any thoughts?

Just how bad was the last century of KU football?
