but jules...you obviously used to because 80's retro was the shit 2,3,4 even 5 years ago. now...a lot of kids want to hear new school bangers. off the wall chi chi fun tracks. a mixing bowl of good music if you will. if you would, and every one else acting hella bitchmade about neon right now, take off the blinders for 5 seconds and actually pay attention...you'd hear fine NEON selectors like DJ Konsept working in more current tracks, more mixtures of styles, introducing unknown music to the masses.

when you build something like the monster that NEON has become, you have to cater to the die hards...the folks that have been there since day one. but the NEON folks, along with almost everyone else in the world, have continued to grow in their appreciation for all types of music. they want to continually push the limits of the night. party music is a touchy animal and i don't give a fuck who you are...NEON has obviously been doing it right for a long time. have respect for the godfather night of this scene.

if you wish to change it...be constructive. if you don't like it...start your own fucking night. this pesimistic behavior is getting to me as you can see, but i'm just ready for some mufuckas to put up or shut up. i'm not seeing anyone puttin up in lawrence other than NEON...
