Yeah, GR will be happier with the change. Some sites just give grades and GR turns a straight C into something MUCH less than a 70.

I'll admit I had a hard time differentiating 59 and below to everyone. :)

And man do I HATE sites that put graphics and gameplay on an even field.

Frankly, you can take the Smash Bros. trailer away and Nintendo dominated the conference. There is no room for argument. Nintendo's new mantra is "Playing = Believing."

Well, the site gives a several-paragraph answer to what the name is supposed to be. It's sad they have to explain it in that much detail since the name speaks for itself.

But I agree, Scov, the games will make the system...but N has a bigger barrier to bust through now.

I'm not saying it will make MY experience with the games different, but the casual audiences are extremely superficial and a name like Wii can unfortunately be a barrier. Sucks.

I think us Nintendo fans want them to succeed more than they do so everyone can know how AWESOME their games and ideas are. That's why the wonky name bugs us.

I prefer Niccum. He has a better developed sense of objectivity. He never bows to Oscar buzz or the indie-has-to-be-cool factor. Even when I don't agree with him, I understand his point of view clearly.

Not to say that Melin isn't good. I actually enjoy Melin's writing as well. I mean, Serenity was in his last year's top ten. Sold. :)

Did you read this at all? Where did you get that "Wait for PS3..." quote?

Maybe you didn't notice how well DS did. ...or that the 360 took four of these awards home.

Being the ringleader of the l-com reviewers, I always point out biases and fanboyisms. And I must say all of our guys are about the games, no matter which system they're on.

Bring examples of this so-called "bias" when 10 critics from ten completely different tastes meshed scores together to get this list.

Frankly, the PS2 is my LEAST played system at home. However, there were surefire AAA titles that no neutral gamer can deny in 2005.
