I enjoy a good round of golf with a six-pack in the cart, but no it is not a sport. I'd add another criterion to your list: Athleticism. Sure, golf takes a lot of hand-eye coordination, but requires little-to-no actual athleticism (running, jumping, agility, etc.). Therefore, it's a game. In order for something to be a sport, its participants must reasonably be considered athletes.
Hell yes! The Sigur Ros show at Liberty Hall a few years ago was pretty epic. I've read good things about Jonsi's solo show too. Check it out: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001...
The Dillon's on Mass is terrible, but I live 3 blocks from it so I can't really justify driving to a better grocery store. And how are they going to renovate it like they did the one on 23rd? It's already so small and cramped.
Sheesh, get a grip guys. I think the re-touches are great. It used to be that I would check the lone featured story at the top and if it didn't seem interesting I might not spend that much more time on the site (I'm lazy). Since there are several of them now and they are all quickly accessible I think it will lead me to more stories I might have missed.
I also like having a list of today's events rather than a slideshow to scroll through. Good stuff.
Yeah I don't really see it as an attack on our culture. I don't think it should be done at all, but I think they used American music probably because our culture is one thing they hate about us. We're the decadent Great Satan, our immoral music is created by homosexuals, Jews, and impure women, right? So if you're gonna blast music into their ears 24/7, why not use Queen.

Best Local Music of 2009
Gah, this makes me realize how much local music I've been missing over the last year. Will definitely be checking this stuff out.
Did Suzannah Johannes release anything this year?

Using music as torture
