Hayes Hamburger & Chili

My husband and I were excited when we first walked into this place. It has a great 50's look, and we were looking forward to what we thought would be an equally great meal. The menu lacks healthy options, so I ordered one of the house specialties - chili. The service was slow, but we didn't mind that much. Then our food arrived. The "chili" is a pile of flavored (and I use the term loosely) hamburger piled into a bowl full of grease. It is not soup-like, with beans, etc., like you would expect. It is basically a pile of meat and grease. My husband's burger was edible, but not very good either. What a disappointment.

Bambino's Italian Restaurant

I love Bambinos. Love the bread. Love the pasta. Love the atomosphere. Love the service. Cozy and romantic, but not stuffy.

Carlos O'Kelly's Mexican Cafe

I like this place. It's not *best* Mexican I've ever had, but it is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. I've never had bad service here - actually the service has always been excellent. No complaints here!

Molly McGee's

I wish it was good, but it's just not. Slow service, bland food. Avoid.

Bigg's Barbeque

I'm not a huge BBQ fan, but this place is fantastic! Better than Vermont Street BBQ. Love the smoked mac and cheese, and a great place to watch a football game. The location is bad (you can barely tell that the place is there from the street), but that doesn't affect the food or the excellent service. Two thumbs up!
