Not a bad atmosphere. I could do without the TVs in a sushi bar. Great food. Affordable. Not the best service, but not bad.

Jefferson's Restaurant

GREAT food. Only place in town to get a lot of what they serve. Recommend the monterey stuffed shrimp, crab legs, oysters, crawfish, catfish poboy. A little pricy considering how many things you have to order to make a meal, but worth it.

Ixtapa is Lawrence's best kept secret. It is the only Mexican restaurant I eat at anymore. The salsa is spicy. The food is authentic and served hotter (as in temperature, not spice) than you'll get anywhere else. Service is really good.

International House of Pancakes

Service was poor when I was there. Nobody wants to hear the employees arguing in the kitchen while they're trying to eat.

Really good burgers. Great fried chicken although you sometimes have to wait about fifteen minutes for them to make it. The sides could use some improvement.

The Burrito King

If you don't mind grease running down your arm while you eat a burrito, this place is for you. Unhealthy, but very tasty.
