How I came to live in Lawrence (if applicable): i followed a girl here and, luckily, she moved away the next day.
Things I miss about Lawrence since moving away (if applicable): well, i still live here, but i'll tell you what i miss about chicago: breakfast, cigar stores, and comic book stores. luckily i can still enjoy bitter, ass-chapping cold.

Opinion on the South Lawrence Trafficway issue: a stoplight at 31st and louisiana would solve any south lawrence traffic "problem." and by the way, a seven-minute delay is not a traffic jam. pussies.
Opinion on West Lawrence: without west lawrence, we would have to look to overland park as a barometer of the banal.
Opinion on the smoking ban: mole hill.
A short essay on why I am or am not a hipster: i have a job that requires me to work. my farmer parents never gave/give me an allowance. my timeless style hasn't changed since i was in grade school. if i was asked to choose between my family and a pair of ill-fitting bellbottoms, i would choose my family.
