A short essay on why I am or am not a hipster: I have never had an ironic mullet. I have never worn a scarf out-of-season. I have never seen the inside of an Urban Outfitters. I do not own ANY records by Bright Eyes, The Postal Service, Belle and Sebastian, or Neutral Milk Hotel. I DO NOT consider lap-pop or dance-rock to be legitimate musical genres. I have never gone to a show "to be seen." I shy away from utilizing faux-sensitivity as an ass-getting technique. And, unlike the psuedo-androgynous posers that use assexuality to pick up on chicks, I can legitimately claim to have sucked another man's cock.
