i wish i could afford to see some movies, shitty or otherwise. i did manage to rent some gems though. we only made it to "eternal sunshine..." which i liked much better than the one movie we made it to last year "lost in translation"- i'm with you on Scarlett, but i did like Bill Murray and the stripper scene, but i'm a closet Peaches fan. imagine my disappointment when it wasn't even included on the soundtrack- the movie could have been SO much better, but i wasn't as nearly disappointed as when i saw "Monsters Ball"- i saw it based on an opinion of a friend, who incidently i dropped as a friend based on their raving about that heap of dung- H.B.'s acting was better in "B.A.P.S.", i swear. oh, and yes, "pink flamingos" is indeed awesome- although, i have had trouble trusting anyone to house sit since viewing it!

i'm with you. i didn't know they are going to remake "Suspiria". it probably will suck, but it could be awesome if they do it right.

i really loved that show as a kid. while all the other kids were at the skating rink, i'd be glued to the tube at my grandparents house. after i saw "the blob" on there, i was banned from watching the show for a few weeks because i got so freaked out, i crawled into their bed in the middle of the night. i remember Uncle Ed too, but hadn't thought about that show in years.
great interview!

i think we will continue on with this occupation no matter who is elected. the sad reality is this: our economy is screwed right now. if we bring them home, what the hell do you think will happen to the unemployment rate? exactly how many troops are there? will their jobs here in America still be here in America when they return? neither of the candidates have the leadership skills to end it, and pull off a job creation plan like FDR.
i wonder what Halliburton and all the other war profiteers will do with their booty paid directly by the taxpayers, not too mention what they've "earned" in tax credits over the past four years? will "trickle down economics" finally come to be? or will they simply just pocket it like the greedy bastards we know they are? something has to give here, folks, and hoping for a leader with some magical plan is nothing but pure denial. true Americans should take back the Government and demand Democracy. when was the last time a Senator called/ e-mailed you to see what YOU want? the corporations and our Govt. have seduced us into lazy, bigoted, must see tv watchers and judgemental twerps. i find it ridiculous when most people i know do not even know their neighbors first name. maybe if people participated in their communities and decided to make a difference, we wouldn't be in this mess. or at least they might learn that we are not as free as we think we are.

"bug eye waif factory" hee.hee.hee. damn, you nailed it.
i didn't know they released it on DVD!!! i can't wait to rent this. my friend joe had it on video and right in the middle of watching it, the vcr ate the tape. even though i know the ending, it'll still be awesome and the perfect way to repair the friendship.

ahhh, yes. Zombi! i've only seen the Anchor Bay version! looking forward to the new and improved version with my neighbor who is metal head and cult film geek combined. "sleepaway camp" is a fine gem too- and is that chick really Bruce Springsteen's sister?
my vote for best horror is still "Suspiria". and i have to mention that "House by the Cemetary" scared me quite a bit more than "Zombie". Shark VS. Zombie is funny, but come on! just saying "Dr. Freudstien" makes me crack up.

Maybe you can send a picture to me. I bet she's grown a lot. I'm glad you and X put your differences aside for her sake. I really wish they would have moved east instead of west of Larrytown.
Keep writing, Rob.

enjoyed the story, but I already forgot what it was about -that damn canadian distracted me with all his tough guy crap. he probably is trying to get in Mel's pants and play daddy. she is pretty hot, but i seriously doubt she'd be impressed with his lack of wit. who knows? maybe the Canadian is really just a frustrated Bass playin' wannabe who can't find his latest issue of Barely Legal......
i hope your visit went well. i bet she's cuter than the last time i saw her.

most women i know are very pro war spending. they could care less about things like education, healthcare and all those silly liberal things.
