Please keep the content local. I don't mind bits sprinkled in regarding the art/music scene in KC or regionally but one of the reason why I loved lcom was b/c it was community oriented.
I agree with above posts, the heart and soul of lcom was Phil. He revamped it and made it his baby. I've known Phil for a long time and know how HARD he worked.
It's great to see so much support for them! Keep it comin.
I am so sad to hear this news. It won't be the same without them. I really hope the World Company will come to regret this. Best of luck to you Phil and Gavon. I'm curious to see these "changes" they speak of b/c so far they made two horrible decisions by letting these guys go. Ugh indeed.
I believe it's actually $40 for the night of the auction, which is this evening I believe. It's WAS a $3 suggested donation when the viewing was available.
When I read this, looked at his attire and where it was from I laughed outloud. These young little hipsters are annoying and try WAY too hard. Surprised he doesn't have a rat tail too. I find the young hipsters laughable. They say they don't care about trends...please, being a young hipster IS a trend.
