Another commerical example of overblowing an indie tune: Such Great Heights by the Postal Service. It broke my heart to hear that lovely tune in a variety of TV ads. But I'm over it. Sigh.
I was too short for basketball but I enjoyed chasing the ball down the court. I turn 29 this May. As a teenager, I used to do a lot of atheltic/cardio stuff...and now I'm lucky if I make it to the gym once a week. Viva la basketball.
Cyndi Lauper? Safe? What about She-Bop? "Huh, yea, I wanna go south n get me some more..." Or maybe self-pleasure made it to the list of safe song topics. Hooray!
