How I came to live in Lawrence (if applicable): KU but then stayed. I know, everyone does this. There's a reason: Lawrence is great.
Opinion on the South Lawrence Trafficway issue: lets get it done and not destroy the wetlands. It has to be done.
Opinion on West Lawrence: too much. I don't want us to morph into a huge Topeka.
Opinion on the smoking ban: Thank you for the ban. I don't smoke and can't stand being around it.
A short essay on why I am or am not a hipster: Hipster? No, not a hipster, but I call Lawrence home. I love Lawrence, even the rotten parts of it. I am proud to live here. That's a good feeling to have. It's a good place to raise kids.
