In Defense of Contentment

Thank you for presenting the positive side of contentment. It's not easy to get there and it doesn't require alot of money, just enough money and the right work schedule, for me, not in an office anymore. It's trite but really it is the small things that make you happy, a few good people, a few good animals, a little garden, and peace of mind that frees you to actually be creative in so many ways. Instead of being really into myself, and creating useless, needless angst, and all that shit, there is instead just this great peace I've made and am finally, after a bit of a lifetime, creating my own little contribution to art. I don't have to be Da Vinci or TS Eliot to be happy just doing it for myself. I guess it just takes some time and losing the really bad habits that help you hide for years. It will never be perfect, but that's just the way it is. So anyway, no worries, try and find the way that will work for you. You are not a sellout Mitzi, you are smart, and I'm glad that you can enjoy your happiness. Peace and love.

And, like, let's talk about libertarians cause I suspect I might be one...there are many shades of grey, and labels don't fit every opinion a person is made of. I look forward to next blog re: all those shades of grey, could be very humerous...

Bowling for Credibility

It is soooo easy to push the so-called "liberal left's" buttons. Say one thing they don't agree with and they'd rather kill you than talk about it. It's just a discussion, so why so personal. You can like Michael Moore all you want, but that doesn't make you right. Happy 4th.

The Gipper

Why is it ok for Murderama to tell everyone to fuck off cause he doesn't agree with them, to put em down for what they think, to absolutely trash them, but it's not ok for me or anyone else I presume, to say that's not ok and give him back what he already started? Don't lecture me on what's nice and what's not and what's deserved by truly uncivilized people, don't ever tell me that I can't say what I think and react to what I truly find insulting. This is also very childish and unoriginal. Doesn't anyone know how to discuss differences without insult, does anyone care

To master murderama, now published in 45 countries, try and stop being so bloody angry, like you're responsible for your own life; and, you don't know anything about me, nothing, so stop assuming you do, and please, please, stop trashing people. Lighten up and life will be better for you.

The Gipper

Message to murderama: Fuck off you vile fuckface. Stop it already with the so very uncivilized, deplorable comments when someone doesn't agree with your so very informed and reasoned opinions. You have no manners, you are impolite to the extreme, intolerant unless agreed with, and you really add nothing but but hate and loathing to what should be just a discussion. You have a garbage mouth. How very talented you are. So really, just fuck fuck fuck fuck off ...asshole.

You kint smoke in here's lest you is on fire: Smoking bans in Kansas.

Feents, this IS a national issue and just as important as all the other really important issues, maybe more because it's about taking freedom away, telling businesses what they have to do, making them do it, taking away the very basic right of choice. I will always maintain that people do not have to work where there's smoke, and customers do not have to go to smoking venues. Seriously, what's next...probably no smoking outside, no more fries, no sugar, no pizza, no anything, absolutely no fun, and soon lawrence will be just as homogenized as the rest of this country has become. Is disneyland the goal? How about a really nice downtown disneyland. I just wish these self-righteous, hypocritical SUV driving mommies and daddies would leave us all alone. It's about freedom...

Dear Griblet, thanks for the comments, but next we really need to ban the toxic cloud you leave behind when you drive that effing car of yours. Not gonna give it up are ya, no way. Well, I've had enough of breathing your toxic fumes, and I can't escape em cause they're outside, everywhere, no escape at all. Stop polluting my environment now, and don't whine and stop being so selfish. OK Boogie, time to ban the effing, polluting cars, the obvious source of all evil on earth and those that drive them. OK clean air lawrence(really from California) take a stand. Ban ALL cars now. You're all such hypocrites you won't admit what's really hurting, especially you very selfish SUV'ers.

I think the smoke shop idea might work. In California the bars "rent" ashtrays for an evening to cover the costs of the smoke police fines, and that might work too. I don't think it will be long before Boog and friends ban smoking outside doorways (and outdoor patios) too because the non-smokers might die after walking through walls of smoke. This ban is only the first step. There will be more. They really want total prohibition and won't stop til they get it. It's like the twenties prohibition morality, and that sure worked well. What these morons really can't handle is that someone, somewhere is having fun and they're not. They don't go to bars, they don't leave the little California village known as west lawrence. They really like Applebee's! They seem to be really pissed off and the demon has become smokes and evil smokers. If they can fix that then life will be really safe, no more anxiety, well, except maybe get rid of booze too, like before, and maybe some other evil stuff too.

There will be smoking speakeasies where ya gotta know the guy. There will be a black market that creates more chaos and unenforceable laws than other drugs do now. The Russian mafia will be really good at providing the goods.

Finally, I really like the idea of a smoke-in at city hall. Just go down there and hang by the doors, smoke, and see how long it takes to get arrested. See ya there.
