I think first impressions can be important, but I also see alot of people just shooting off thier mouths without knowing any background behind the name. I'm not saying there is one, but let's wait until we see the marketing campaign, and more importantly the system and it's games. When we have more of an idea about how this name corresponds to the whole package, we might not be so confused.
I'm surprised the social aspect of gaming hasn't been brought up yet. Gaming isn't just about sitting in your dark basement alone. The most fun gaming I've experienced has been with other people. Video games have replaced card games, and board games for many people as a social "get-together" device. Games are far more socially stimulating than a movie night, and more safe than the bar scene.
Not only can gaming help develope certain thinking skills, it can also develope teamwork skills that can be used throughout life as well.
There is a new game by the guys who made "ilovebees" called ourcolony. Matt has created his own colony and we'd like as many people as possible to join us.
Go to http://www.ourcolony.net and enter 'play' into the empty field. When you're in the lounge, go to 'Join Existing Colony' and enter 27011648
I'd like to note that this game was also originally intended to be a spin off of the deus ex series. I haven't played it, but I suspect that much of the gameplay aspect can be traced back to those roots.
The fact that Samara was supposedly "let loose" should explain the change in her methods. Now that she is free, she can kill without the whole "seven days" scenario.
300 bikini briefs, 600 shiny pecs, 1 disappointing movie
